WHO ARE WE?
Elan Bridal is an online wedding dress and accessory store, offering a hassle free shopping experience to South African brides. We were founded in 2017 by Elan Collective (Pty) LTD.
Even though our mission is to offer first-rate convenience, our focus is and always will be, to ensure the highest standard of workmanship. We take pride in the delivery of exquisite hand-made bridal gowns and quality approved accessories.
Each of our garment orders are uniquely manufactured upon placement. Accessories and other items are carefully sourced based on quality and suprior design.
DO WE OFFER SHIPPING & DELIVERY?
Each of our garment orders are uniquely manufactured upon placement, and will be delivered within a lead time of 3 months from the date of purchase.
We offer door-to-door delivery as well as collection points country wide.
Once your order has been dispatched for delivery, we will send you an email with tracking details. If you have any enquiries you can email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Standard Delivery: All Standard Deliveries of R500 or more is eligible for FREE delivery in all areas within South Africa. Standard delivery fees on orders under R500 are R150.
Weekend Delivery: Should you prefer to have your parcel delivered on a Saturday, an additional fee of R150 can be added to book a delivery between 08:00 and 14:00 on a Saturday. This applies for deliveries in selected suburbs of Cape Town and Johannesburg.
FINDING YOUR ORDER STATUS?
After you complete the online checkout process, you will receive an email containing your seven-digit order number and a summary of all the items you purchased. This notification will also list estimated processing and delivery times for each item. If you have any questions, click "Contact Us" at the bottom of your order notification email and send us a message.
If you have not received an order notification email, first check your spam folder and email settings, then contact us at email@example.com.
HOW DOES ONE PLACE AN ORDER?
Elan Bridal Offers a variety of items available to purchase online. To purchase a product, colour and size must be selected (if applicable). When a size is not listed, or the size box is light grey and unclickable, that size is not available in the selected colour. Once you have selected your colour and size, click the "Add to Cart" button to place the item in your Shopping Cart. If you have made your colour and size selections and are still unable to add the item, it is currently out of stock and unavailable for purchase. Inventory is updated daily so please check back soon.
Once you are ready, click "Checkout" in your Shopping Cart to place the order. From the Shopping Cart, you can easily update the quantity or remove items from the list. You will also have the opportunity to verify all information and make changes, if necessary, before placing your order. After you place your order, you will receive an order notification email with your order number. When your merchandise ships from our warehouse facilities, you will receive a shipment notification email.
Processing begins as soon as an order has been placed, therefore we cannot change, cancel or modify orders once they have been confirmed. Note that this includes product changes as well as payment, shipping address and shipping method.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE AVAILABLE?
We offer the following payment methods:
CREDIT & CHEQUE CARDS
Credit cards are one of the most widely used online payment methods and allows sellers to accept both local and international payments. Accept Visa and Mastercard credit card payments directly on your blog, website or shopping cart system. There are no monthly or setup fees, you only pay a small percentage of each successful transaction.
No credit card? No problem. Instant EFT allows online shoppers with access to internet banking to make an internet banking transfer (EFT) that gets instantly verified. There is no two day wait, you don’t need to send in proof of payments and it can be used with six of South Africa’s biggest banks.

There are two types of Coupons: a Coupon with a fixed amount of a discount, e.g. R100 off (“Fixed Coupon”), and a Coupon with a percentage discount, e.g. 10% off (“Percentage Coupon”).
Where you have used a Fixed Coupon to pay for an order, and you or ELAN BRIDAL later cancels your order (or part thereof) prior to delivery of the relevant product(s), or you log a return of one or more products for a credit in accordance with the Returns Policy, the value of the Fixed Coupon will be deducted off the purchase price of the cancelled or returned product(s) (as applicable), and we will credit your account for the balance, if any (or refund you if that is your preference).
WHAT ABOUT SIZING & FIT?
Under each dress description, you will find a pink SIZE GUIDE button. This will give you a conversion chart which will help you find your size according to your measurements.
Most of our dresses are listed in US sizes, so please double check size according to your measurements once you are ready to add the dress to your cart.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DRESS SIZE
Always ensure that you are wearing a similar fit of undergarments as what you plan on wearing under your wedding gown, keep this in mind if you plan on wearing an extra padded bra, etc. It is important not to measure over clothing as this can affect the calculated size considerably. For waist, bust and hip measurements, always double check that your measuring tape is held parallel to the floor and pulled evenly across the body with no slack. You may want to consider getting professionally measured. Consult the Size Charts and Fit Guide to determine which size you should purchase.
BUST: Measure across the back and fullest part of the bust (not below the bust).
WAIST:Bend to one side to find the crease or natural waist. Measure across the narrowest part.
HIP: Standing with your feet together, measure at the fullest (widest) part of your hip.
LENGTH FROM WAIST TO HEM: Measure from your Natural Waist to the dress hem. Note: The length is not measured starting from the garment neckline
ARM LENGTH: Have your arm just slightly bent, and measure from the tip of your shoulder over the elbow to your wrist line. You will also need a friend for this measurement.

Products that qualify for returns and refunds need to be logged within 14 days from delivery / collection. There are exclusions and special provisions. To see more information, please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
HOW DO I RETURN A PRODUCT?
To ensure your request is processed as quickly as possible you are responsible for the following when returning your products;
- package your products safely and securely for protection during transit;
- clearly mark your return reference number on the outside of the parcel; and
- include all accessories and parts that were sold with the product.
